The organization gives local foster children a free week of summer camp: the camp is free thanks to charitable donations.
This year's guest speakers included former PA first lady, Michele Ridge, as well as vice president of camps at the Royal Family Kids home office in California, Glenn Garvin.
Both speakers made passionate pleas as to why it is so important to help give young foster children (ages 6-12) the opportunity to go to summer camp for free.
"They've been whipped with vacuum cleaner chords, burned with cigarettes. There parents have mistreated them," Garvin said.
