MARCH 18, 2013-Sparks fly at an Abion Townhall meeting as residents dish out their concerns about their local police force.

More than 50 residents filled the Albion Borough Hall tonight.

A fatal accident where two men were killed in a reported high speed chase months back prompted the meeting.

Police chief tells us the chase never was really a high speed chase to begin with and says it was blown out of proportion because of social media.

In addition, residents at the meeting talked about how they have wrongfully been pulled over for speeding and DUI's.

The cost of the police department was also addressed.

The mayor of Albion says the department does a fine job and they are not in jeopardy.

Comments

I think that the Albion Police chief, and Mayor better get their facts straight before a BIGGER investigation goes into effect, if there are THAT many people complaining, because someone WILL find out the truth, they always do!!
