There are hundreds of children in our area that are waiting for their dream family.

It's time now to profile a promising local child that is looking for just that.

Elizabeth is a 13-year-old girl, who knows what she wants, especially when it comes to horse back riding.

Jet 24 was lucky enough to spend the day at Blended Spirits Ranch riding horses with this sweet young girl.

She gave us a little insight as to what makes her so special. And as you can see this one is an animal lover.

That's not all Elizabeth is passionate about, she finds peace in music, Taylor Swift music to be specific.

All of these wonderful qualities make Elizabeth wonder why she doesn't have a family of her own.

She tells us how she longs for a brother or a sister and two parents who will give her as much love as she has been holding in her heart.

Elizabeth prays for a loving family, one that will cherish her for exactly who she is, a with a heart of gold.

If adoption is something you've been considering, or if Elizabeth seems like a good fit for your family, contact Family Services of Northwestern Pennsylvania at 814-866-4500.

Actually, adopting in the U.S. is easy, as there are lots of different agencies who are out there to support you and help you through each step of the process. Also, adoption in Pennsylvania costs very little, and could cost as little as nothing at all. When compared to a lot of international adoptions, which can cost in the tens of thousands, and where there is no agency that has a history with the child involved past placement... well, you get what I'm saying.

It's a shame that in the States here, we have soo many, bright, happy, loving, kids that COULD be adopted, and aren't...only because the States make it so incredibly hard to do here...that is why so many people go into other Countries to adopt instead...there are so many great kids here waiting, and waiting, and waiting...just for someone to love them...can't we PLEASE change the laws so that they get that chance??
