The area around the former Tent City is going through quite a change.

Puline And Sons Construction is clearing 3 and a half acres of tent city debris along with dozens of trees and brush.

Several people who lived in tents in the woods there were told they had to move by CSX Railroad police.

Crews are hoping to remove the piles left behind on Monday and take the debris to the landfill.
They will then level the ground and plant grass, a big difference in the landscape of years past.
