Lt Governor Discusses Natural Gas Buses

Lt Gov Jim Cawley came to Erie today  to draw attention to the opportunity that natural gas exploration in Pennsylvania presents.

The Lt Gov toured an EMTA bus that runs on CNG, or compressed natural gas and said that fuel is the fuel of the future.
  He said the cleaner, cheaper alternative to diesel fuel and is helping EMTA reduce costs and protect the environment.

EMTA currently has 7 of their busses that rubn on compressed natural gas and have an order in for 11 new buses.  Dennis Solensky is the Executive Director of EMTA and says that in the next 10 years, 100% of EMTA buses will run on compressed natural gas
