Heavy rain, high winds and slick roadways....

Erie County is beginning to feel the possible effects of Hurricane Sandy.

We spoke with several people about their travel woes earlier today at the Erie International Airport.

Erie native Whitney Deblock says she has felt the effects of Hurricane Sandy first hand.

Deblock flew in from Guantanamo Bay Cuba where she was stationed with her husband.... one of the first spots where hurricane sandy first touched down.

Deblock says she watched hurricane sandy rip through Guantanamo Bay, devastating her town and even losing power for 12 hours.

But other travelers haven't had as rough of a time as Deblock.

And some travelers say turbulence has been rough on the flights, but delays have been minimal thus far.
