Major Water Break Shuts Down Peninsula Drive

November 22, 2012- Water workers and fire police are assisting Millcreek Authorities and the Erie Waterworks at a major water vmain break at the intersection of Peninsula Drive and West 26th Street.
The break was reported just after 3 pm .
Emergency dispatches say Route 832, that's Sterrettania Road south of route 20, is closed to the intersection with Caughey road at West 38th street.
The main break is said to be washing out the roadbed undermining the road surface.
