New Multi-year Pa Fishing Licenses Now Available

By: Lou Baxter
Updated: December 6, 2012
December 5, 2012 -State Senator-elect Sean D. Wiley is urging local anglers to take advantage of Pennsylvania's new multi-year fishing licenses.

"Sportsmen who want a fishing license every year can save time and money with the multi-year license while getting some great deals from retailers," Wiley said.

On Dec. 1, the state Fish and Game Commission began selling the first-ever three-year and five-year fishing licenses. The commission has partnered with fishing-related retailers to offer dozens of coupons and discounts on goods and services. Anglers who purchase the multi-year licenses will save the cost of annual handling and agent fees, and will receive as much as $300 in discounts.

The licenses are available wherever fishing licenses are sold, and on line at www.gonefishingpa.com .

For more information, or if anyone needs help obtaining these licenses, assistance is available at the Senator-elect's district office at (814) 453-2515. It is located at 1314 Griswold Plaza in Erie. Office hours are from 9am-5pm Monday through Friday.
