December 12, 2012 - Area school districts and the Northwest Tri County Intermediate Unit Board come to an agreement Wednesday night.

An I-U board meeting discussed a resolution adopted by 15 of the 17 school districts served by the I-U.

That resolution concerning alleged over payments by the districts.

It calls for a forensic audit of the payments and possible repayment options based on the audit report.

The board passed the resolution as presented.

According to its solicitor, the Intermediate Unit has a healthy fund balance.

The meeting was held at the I-U 5 in Edinboro.
