New Law Increases Fines For Underage Drinking

12/28/12 If you're nabbed for underage drinking in Pennsylvania, be prepared to pay a hefty fine.
The law was introduced by Center County State Senator Jake Corman, and increases fines for underage drinking from $300 to $500. The second offense will cost you $1,000, up from $500.
The law also pertains to public drunkenness.
The last time the fines were increased was back in 1972..

It's about time! It SHOULD also include, losing your driver's license the FIRST time you are caught Drunk Driving! Most of those drinking and driving aren't worried about fines...but they WOULD worry if they couldn't drive anymore, and also put those things on their vehicles that prevent them from starting their cars, the breath tester! We NEED to crack down on all of those Drunk Driving!
