Prospect Avenue Fire

A chimney fire in a home at 2235 Prospect Street broke out close to midnight.

Firemen arriving at the scene found fire spreading to the walls and ceiling. Quick work by the responding companies kept the damage fro spreading to the rest of the house.

No injuries were reported at that blaze.
