One woman is dead after a three vehicle crash in Woodcock Township this afternoon.

Around 3:30 this afternoon, 53 year old Cindi Lou McKissock from Cambridge Springs was traveling north on route 6 and 19 when, according to state police, she failed to stop and skidded sideways into the rear of a driver that was stopped and waiting to turn left onto Brake Shoe Road.

After hitting the stopped vehicle McKissock's vehicle spun around and hit another car traveling south on 19, that's when her car caught fire.

She was taken to MeadvilleMedicalCenter where she later died due to blunt force trauma sustained during the crash.

There were no other serious injuries reported.
