If your child suffers from hearing loss... There are free classes available at The Blasco Library that can help...
Today was the first baby sign language story time class...
Officials are introducing basic baby sign language to help children and their parents learn new vocabulary and interact....
Speech pathologist Casie Lucas tells us these classes are extremely helpful because young children are able to move their hands before they can actually speak
If this is something you or your children would be interested in...The Blaso Library will be holding these classes the last Friday of every month until May.

my child is 21 months old and not deaf or hearing disabled in any way. She does however know some sign language that I have self taught her just from googling the signs. Is this class beneficial for her and I?

Wonderful class to offer, not only for those with hearing loss, but also for those that don't have it yet, you never know when it might hit you...
