With nearly three decades of experience practicing law in Erie County, Attorney Joe Walsh has announced he will run for Judge on the Court of Common Pleas of Erie County.

Walsh made the announcement to a packed room Tuesday evening at the Maennerchor Club, 1607 State Street.

Walsh says his years of experience makes him the perfect candidate.

"I've presided over 5,000 mental health hearings. I've had to make decisions for the past twenty years that affect peopl's lives, and that's a position I take seriously," Walsh said.

So far attorneys Bill Kelly and Jamie Mead have also announced their candidacies for the position.
