Your response is infantile and expected. [censored] the messenger and ignore the message. The facts are shocking and sickening and have nothing to do with my opinion or your self-perceived worldliness. The PA State Police and Health Department statistics show clearly enough for idiots like you and all your gun freak friends that Erie is not safer when compared to either the rest of PA or the nation. Statistics from the EPA and PADEP clearly show that Erie is not a clean place to raise a family. And statistics from the USGS Meteorologists show that winters here in NWPA suck. Who cares where you've been? The people plagued by crime on the East Side sure don't. I've been around the world several times too, and lived abroad for years, enough to know that many places on this planet are hellholes, just like 602 East 24th St.

Captain %u201CM%u201D Another day in Erie where all the responsible gun owners fired not a single round at another human. (And obviously thereby diminished the risk of unneeded harm or serious criminal actions) Another day where senseless violence, by any means, by those among us, have chosen to risk the well being others. (The real problem) Another day where your opinion about what constitutes a %u201Ctrashcan%u201D gets a public forum. After visiting 50 countries, I can say without reservation, Erie is an awesome place to live and work. You attitude and opinion are at best misguided and without true merit. Captain Kenny
