Fire Levels Vacant Building in Conneaut Ohio

February 11, 2013 - Firefighters from Erie County were helping battle a huge blaze in Conneaut, Ohio.

First reports about the fire came in around 6:40pm

According to the Ashtabula Star Beacon Newspaper, the building on West Jackson Street was last used to make metal cans for The General Aluminum Company.

Firefighters from Ashtabula County and West Springfield battled the flames in thick smoke and windy conditions.

What's described as a vacant factory building was heavily damaged.

There were no injuries reported.
