FEBRUARY 18, 2013- Two people are sent to the hospital after a home invasion on Erie's West side...

It happened just before eight o'clock Monday evening at a home in the 1300 block of West 22nd Street...

According to Erie Police, an elderly couple living at the home heard a knock at the door...

When they answered it, that's when two suspects burst inside and started beating the couple.

No word on what if any weapons were used.

Police say nothing was taken.

No arrests have been made.

Comments

Another day, another brazen act of senseless and sickening violence here in trashcan Erie. This sort of crime and victimization is becoming the norm here in the toilet bowl of NWPA. What if this were your grandparents? Where is the community outcry? Or is this sort of thing to be expected in our neighborhoods these days?
