Erie police were busy early this morning searching for people involved in shots fired on the east side.

The first incident happened around 9:45 in the 500 block of East 13th Street.
Police say they recovered a dozen shell casings but no one was injured.

Just after 2 am, five shell casings were recovered after shots were fired in the one thousand block of East 4th Street.

A house was hit but no one was injured.

Has anyone looked in to putting a fence up from Holland to the Bayfront Connector and from the Bayfront to 28th St? We could keep the animals in a cage that way!
