Erie Man Pleads Guilty to Child Luring Charges

An Erie man accused of hiring a young girl for sex pleads guilty today.

Thirty-two-year-old Douglas Melter faces up to ten years in federal prison on charges of attempting to lure an 11-year-old girl to have sex with him, possessing child pornography and illegally owning a firearm.

Melter pleaded guilty to avoid going to trial. No word yet on the sentence date.
