Parking Rates Stay Steady
There is some good news for motorists who like to park in downtown Erie...parking rates will not be rising in 2007.
The Erie Parking Authority recently adopted a 2007 budget that does not require a rate increase.
The re-opening of the parking ramp at West 9th and Peach Streets is expected to increase revenue.
The ramp was closed for renovations, but is expected to be complete by the end of January.
The authority increased rates in both 2004 and 2005.
