An accident tonight in Crawford County sends three people to the hospital.
It happened just after 6 pm Friday evening on Old Plank Road in Venango Township.
State Police say Robert George of Meadville was northbound on old plank when he lost control of his vehicle around a curve.
George drifted into the southbound lane, striking a car driven by Carolyn Borders of Saegertown.
Both Borders and a passenger were trapped inside the vehicle and had to be freed from the wreckage by rescuers.
Both were transported to Meadville Medical Center, where they are being treated in the emergency room and are said to be in stable condition.
George is being treated at Hamot Medical Center in Erie.
