Murder Suspect Dies

A man accused of stabbing his wife to death with a sword has died. 56 year old Edward John Banak of meadville, died from lung cancer at Meadville Medical Center. According to police, Banak stabbed Deborah Fortune with an ornamental sword during an argument last July. Banak was awaiting trial on criminal homicide charges.
