Martin Luther King Week Begins

January 15, 2007 is the official kick off to the Martin Luther King celebration in Erie. Sunday was the Gospel Extravaganza at the Shiloh Baptist Church on East 5th street. The event which included about ten churches featured the Martin Luther King Community choir. Leaders say by merging its the best way to honor Dr. King`s dream. Monday there will be a memorial march at Perry Square.
