Smoking Ban Postponed

It turns out smokers will be able to light up in public places for another month. Erie County Council voted to delay the smoking ban from going into effect until March 15th. The decision sparked much controversy as Councilman Kyle Foust, says Council`s credibility could be tarnished. The smoking ban at indoor facilities would have gone into effect on Saturday. Monday, Erie County Judge John Judge Bozza denied a request for a preliminary injunction. A permanent injunction hearing is scheduled for February 26th.
