Route 19 Accident Sends Four People To Hamot

Weather may have played a part in a two vehicle crash near Waterford that sent 4 people to the hospital. Emergency crews were called to Route 19 and Trask Road around one Sunday afternoon. According to state police, an s-u-v driven by 22 year old Jeremy Kurczewski was traveling north on Rt. 19 when he lost control of his vehicle and slammed into an oncoming car driven by 46 year old d Douglas Sanders of Sugar Grove. Sanders was trapped in his car for several minutes. He`s in serious condition at Hamot Medical Center. A passenger, 51 year old Diane Sandburg is in stable condition. A passenger in Kurczewski`s vehicle, 19 year old Cellae Napierkowski is also in stable condition. kurczewski was not seriously injured. State police are investigating
