County Council Wants Table Games at Casino

Erie County Council members are urging state lawmakers to legalize table games in the Commonwealth. Officials say there are some benefits to blackjack and poker games. Table games could bring about 200 jobs to the region and provide tax relief. Double revenue is also expected with the recent opening of Presque Isle Downs Casino. Council`s request will now be sent to state legislators. Meantime, council members will have more discussions on the social effects of gaming.
