Erie`s controversial amusement tax is now being applied to events across the board - not just to events that cost more than $5.
City Council gave final approval to the three percent tax in February.
Tickets under $5 were originally exempt from the tax.
The money brought in by the amusement tax in 2006 fell well short of City Council`s projections. It`s hoped the revised tax will generate around $200,000 in 2007.
