House Explosion In Corry May Have Been Caused By Gas Leak

An explosion in Corry levels a house and sends one man to a Pittsburgh hospital burn unit. Fire crews were called to Essex Street around 10 oclock Saturday night after reports of a house explosion. The house was blown apart and one man was reportedly trapped under a wall in the basement. According to fire officials, several people lifted the wall off the man and dragged him to safety. He reportedly was airlifted to a Pittsburgh hospital. Investigators are looking into the cause of the explosion that may have been caused by a gas leak
