Police Respond to Disturbance at K-Mart Store

Millcreek police were called to a disturbance at the K-Mart on West 26th Street around 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning. They arrived to find Timothy Lantz, 23, of Millcreek hiding in the Garden Center holding a knife. Police say Lantz threatened the officers with the knife and then fled the scene on foot. Officers chased him on foot and by car and caught him in the area of West 26th Street and Zuck Road. Lantz was charged with seven counts of aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, making terroristic threats and possessing an instrument of crime.
