East Side Stabbing
Erie police are looking for two suspects in a stabbing on the city`s East Side. Police were called to the corner of 7th & Vine streets around two o`clock Monday morning. A man was apparently walking down the street when he was attacked from behind by two men. Police say it began as a mugging. The man was then stabbed twice. He was transported to Hamot medical center. Police say they do have suspects in the case, but have not taken any into custody.
