WQLN Annual Fund Drive A Success

watch video
WQLNs new twist on its annual fund drive appears to have been a success. The goal was to raise $55,000 in just one day. The pledging began at 5:00 a.m. Thursday morning and lasted until 11:00 p.m. WQLN came very close to its goal, raising, at last count, just about $2,500 less than theyd hoped. The FCC requires WQLN to raise a certain amount of money from the community it serves each year, thus the reason they have the annual fund drive. This years drive was different than years past. It usually lasts for two weeks, this years was cut down to just one day.
