The future of Conneaut Lake Park could become more clear Tuesday. Summit Township Supervisors are expected to reach a decision on whether or not to change a housing ordinance regarding Conneaut Lake Park Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. The change of the housing ordinance would allow developers to build ten condominiums rather than six on park property. Meanwhile, Gregory Sutterlin is looking to buy 3.3 acres of the park for one-point-seven million dollars. The sale will be considered by Judge Anthony Vardaro in Crawford County Court. Since the park is a public trust operated under court supervision, the judge must decide if the sale is appropriate. If the ordinance change is approved and the judge allows the deal, that sale could give the park enough funding to open for the summer.
