In the wake of the Virginia Tech massacre, Edinboro University held an open forum Tuesday for faculty, students and members of the local community. It was a chance for everyone to express their grief and show support for those affected by the Virginia Tech tragedy. Edinboro President, Frank Pogue moderated the event. Dr. Pogue assured members of the Edinboro community that the school remains as safe as humanly possible. He also reminded those on campus to keep an eye out for any unusual activity. Dr. Pogue says the university has adopted an emergency operations plan in the event of any campus emergency. If you are an Edinboro student and suspect any unusual activities you are encouraged to call campus police at (814) 732-2921.
