New Peach St. Developments Underway

watch video
Peach Street Just when you think there's no land available to build on Peach Street, we find many new projects well underway. At least four major developments are currently under construction along one of the busiest streets in Erie County.

From food and family fun, to health care and even your home furnishing needs, Peach St. continues to expand.

Developers are steadily working on the expansion of Millcreek Community Hospital. The demolition has begun and we're now seeing the old Bianchi uilding go down. The expansion includes a brand new wellness center that will focus on senior citizens needs.

Next up the street is Oak Express.  It's currently located at the intersection of Peach St. and Interchange Rd. Land has already been cleared across Peach St. for the furniture store to move its location and expand between Olive Garden and The Amish Buggy.

Next there's yet another fast food restaurant coming to peach street.  A Chick-Fil-A is currently under construction between Tim Horton's and Verizon Wireless.

Finally, Scott Enterprises is planning for more family fun on upper Peach St.   While there are many projects in the works for Splash Lagoon, including a wave pool,  developers are currently working on building new family suites. 30 of them should be completed by the fall.

Peach street may seem packed with business, but as long as there's land, they say they'll continue to build.
