State Street Stabbing

City police are investigating a stabbing that happened on State Street Friday morning. The call came out shortly before 2:30 Friday morning to Papa Georges Country Bar and Grill located on the 1000 block of State Street. A 21-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen. He was transported to Hamot Medical Center for treatment. Police say the victim was uncooperative and there may be a chance that the wound was self-inflicted.
