watch video
Edinboro UniversityTuesday, faculty members at Edinboro University held a solidarity March on campus. It was a demonstration for faculty members to show their unity in obtaining a contract. This march comes in conjunction with a strike authorization vote that began on Tuesday and will run through Thursday. The current contract between faculty union workers, or the APSCUF and the PA State System of Higher Education expires on June 30th. The faculty union has been pressing since last year for a new contract to be in place by July 1st. The union is trying to have negotiations completed in a timely manner, avoiding disruption for the students.
