A Millcreek family is homeless following a fire that ripped through their nearly 200 year old house. The fire started just before 12:30 A.M. Saturday morning. That’s when a Millcreek police officer on routine patrol noticed the blaze at 723 Arbuckle Road . Volunteer firefighters from Belle Valley, Kearsarge, Kuhl Hose and Perry Hi-Way were called to the scene. Because the fire was hard to contain, more fire companies were called in to help out Fortunately, all five occupants escaped safely. The American Red Cross has stepped in to help the family. Two firefighters were sent to the hospital where they were treated and released for minor injuries. Because of the extent of the damage and the unsafe structure Millcreek fire investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire
