Sentencing Postponed
An Erie woman accused of using her baby as a weapon was supposed to be sentenced Tuesday morning, but now a judge is giving her more time to consider her plea.
Chytoria Graham pleaded guilty back in March to a First-Degree felony of aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a child. In return, the prosecution dropped charges of simple assault and recklessly endangering another person.
Graham faces a mandatory minimum sentence of five years in state prison on the aggravated assault count.
The child-endangerment count carries a maximum sentence of five years in a state prison. Graham will now be sentenced June 8th in front of Judge William Cunningham.
