watch video
Walmart has named its teachers of the year. This year, one of those teachers is from Erie First Christian Academy.

Jeddie Brumley was honored Tuesday morning in front of her students and co-workers. She was chosen as the 23rd Street Walmart's Teacher of the Year.

The store got more than 80-nominations. Brumley was nominated by Tory Reichert, a student she's known for about six years.

Reichert says she's been wanting to nominate Brumley for a while, and finally wrote the essay to do it.
Brumley received a plaque, t-shirt and 100-dollar gift certificate to buy school supplies at Walmart. The school will also get 1000-dollars for the honor.
