Conneaut Lake Park

watch video
Conneaut Lake ParkIt looks like Conneaut Lake Park will open its gates sooner than expected, but dont plan on riding any adult rides just yet. Park officials have decided to stick to tradition and open for Memorial Day weekend. But, with very limited funds, they can only open certain parts of the park including the Hotel Conneaut, Camperland, The Beach Club, Dreamland Ballroom and, if there is enough money, Kiddieland. They are working on getting the facilities ready and have already hired entertainment for the Do-Wopp Car Cruise Weekend. However, the park is still short about $100,000 from getting all rides ready for opening day. Adult rides, such as the Blue Streak, will remain closed over the weekend. Theyre hoping the commemorative coin sale and proceeds from the weekend will be able to open the rest of the rides up soon.
