Prom Project

watch video
Students throughout Erie headed out to that one last high school dance Saturday night... the prom.

With dresses, shoes, limos and that special hairdo, proms can be expensive. So a group of foster kids decided to put together the Prom Project.

About 60 students were involved in the Prom Project. The goal was to get the community to donate money so foster kids could attend the prom.

The Prom Project collected almost 800 dresses, and over 900 in cash from the Erie community.
