Cookie-Cutter Mom!
A local woman is making a big name for herself by way of a cookie cutter. So big in fact, that she appeared on ABC's "Good Morning America" twice and arrived back in Erie with a new title for herself.
Erie is now home of Good Morning America's Mother of Inventors! Carol Senkalski invented the multi-cookie cutter which started out as a solution to making multiple treats for her dog who has a lot of allergies.
Well, this not-so-cookie-cutter idea ended up launching her into an overnight success! Carol Senkalsi, a 45-year-old stay at home mom, beat out over 600 entries to compete in the mother of inventions contest with two other finalists on Saturday's "Good Morning America."
America got to vote on their favorite idea and once the scores were tallied, Carol was crowned the winner and presented with a $10,000 check on this Sunday’s GMA.
In addition to the $10,000, Carol received a patent for her product and amazon.com will be launching the multi-cookie-cutter.
Congratulations Carol, from everyone here at Action News 24 and FOX 66!
