Jeremy Mulligan Trial

 The jury has been selected and opening statements have taken place in the trial of a Detroit man accused of shooting his girlfriend.

Police say 23-year old Jeremy Mulligan shot and critically injured 27year old Kristy Corder on August 7th after getting angry over a burglary that took place that night.

Mulligan was arrested by police and FBI officials in Detroit.

Jury selection took place this morning and both the prosecution and defense also got through opening statements this afternoon.

The trial will continue in front of Erie County Judge William Cunningham.
