watch video
The Secretary of the Department of Environmental Protection Thursday said the GAF Property is by no means the garden of Eden. The GAF committee met Thursday morning to discuss prospective plans for the former plant. The secretary said they must now work closely with GAF officials as they shut down final operations. She said it was helpful to meet other players involved in the planning. Erie Mayor Joe Sinnott said they are still unable to set a timetable for when changes could be made to the site.
