watch video
It was a busy morning for Millcreek Police, when one person fled the scene after their car ran into a house.

The incident happened shortly after 2:00 a.m. Monday morning in the Glenwood Heights area of Millcreek.

Police say the driver of a silver Ford Taurus sedan was traveling north on State Route 505. For unknown reasons, the operator lost control of the vehicle and slammed into the side of a house at 5304 Perry Highway.

When police arrived on scene they could not find the driver of the vehicle and proceeded to search the surrounding area. They eventually did find the motorist.

The operator suffered some minor injuries and was transported to Hamot Medical Center. The car suffered heavy front end damage.

The house also suffered some pretty heavy structural damage. Millcreek Police are still investigating the accident.
