As Memorial Day weekend approaches there is still no official word from Conneaut Lake Park on whether the park will open.

It was hoped that the historic amusement park would be able to host the traditional do-wop weekend to kick off the summer season.

But, park manager George Deshner said Friday that he's not able to say for sure whether that will actually happen.

He said Monday at 11:00 is the deadline to make a decision. Stay tuned to Action News 24, Fox 66 and YourErie.com for all the latest information.
