Downtown Credit Union Robbed

For the second time in just a few weeks, a downtown Erie bank is robbed. It happened just after 10:30 Thursday morning at the Erie Community Credit Union in the 1100 block of State Street. Police say an unarmed suspect wearing a ski mask entered the credit union demanding cash from a teller. The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of money. He is described as a black male, between 5`6 and 5`8 with a medium build. Police are reviewing survaillance tapes from inside the bank. Anyone with information is asked to call the Erie City Police at 870-1120.
