Child Luring

watch video
A Crawford County girl is safe and sound after being lured from her home. Police say 24-year-old Michael Scott Sliker persuaded a 9-year-old to leave her house on Willow Street in Meadville around 11:00 Tuesday night.

Sliker reportedly knocked on the door and grabbed the victim when she answered.  He then convinced her to ride her bike with him to a nearby Country Fair.

A cashier at the convenience store noticed something wasn't right and called the police.
Sliker was charged with Interference with the Custody of a Child and Disorderly Conduct.

He was arraigned before Magisterial Judge William Chisholm. He is being held in the Crawford County Correctional Facility on $25,000 bond.
