The recent child luring in Meadville is a reminder to parents that they need to talk to their kids about stranger danger. Tuesday night, a nine-year-old girl was convinced to leave her home by a 24-year-old man. Although the girl was wasn't hurt and is back home safe and sound, some say the situation could have been avoided. Lt. Maggie Kuhn with the Erie Police Department and the Children's Advocacy Center says parents should instruct their kids on what to do anytime they are approached by a stranger. Also, kids shouldn't answer the door without a parent's supervision.
