Fire Rips Through West Erie Warehouse

September 24, 2012--The City of Erie Fire Inspector is investigating a fire on Erie's west side.

It happened at 13th and Sassafras Streets around 4 p.m. Monday.

It started on the back loading dock located on the south side of the building which appears to be used as a warehouse.

No injuries were reported but the fire did spread inside.

At this point investigators aren't saying what sparked the blaze.
